Deiva Marina is set in enchanting area, near many of the most fascinating resorts of the Ligurian coast.
Situated between Moneglia and Framura, it is an outpost of sorts from which one can visit and admire the beauties of the Gulf of Tigullio: Portofino, Santa Margherita, Rapallo, Zoagli, Chiavari and Sestri Levante are all just a few minutes away by car or train.
Located on the border between the provinces of Genoa and la Spezia, it is only a few kilometers away from the Riviera di Levante, stringing together gems such as Bonassola and Bocca di Magra, travelling through Levanto, the Cinque Terre, Portovenere and Lerici, continuing south to the foothills of the Tuscan coast.
There are innumerable opportunities for sportspersons and for those who love summer vacations, from road cycling to mountain biking, without forgetting the itineraries which border the sea – perfect for motorcyclists. The sea triumphs over the town’s wide beach, which is one of a kind, given the fact that that wide sandy stretches are a rarity in the region. The cultural and natural resources are clearly unique: the crêuze (characteristic mule tracks which cross the Genoan and Ligurian hillside), the ancient pathways, the salt roads blazed centuries ago by merchants, as well as a glorious vision of lemon trees, pines, holm oaks and hinterland vegetation. The scent of the sea permeates everything, insinuating in the coves and seeped in poetry.
